Salvation is a journey. I'm fairly certain many people got themselves into their professional positions before they understood the present nature of things. Perhaps they have a wife at home, and several White children depending on him to pay the mortgage. I'm sure if it were me in that position, I'd jump at the chance to break free from it - but I'd be pretty hesitant if it means guaranteed homelessness. It's the sort of situation that requires time and tact.
