I like pmyb2, I gather he’s running the show down here and he’s a lot more involved than putt. I have no real problems with the interface except the fact you have to manually check read on your replies. Everyone here seems based so that’s cool.

There’s one thing, on voat you were pretty much 100% up to date on everything that was going on in the news. I don’t get that here, it feels like a day could go and I’d have no idea what happened cause we were all just talking about jews.

A lot more posts of right wing news sources pretty much being mirrored on the site would be an improvement. But I’m not gonna do it cause I’m fat and gay.

You are right. We need more news. Honestly I was getting quite a bit of my news from boomer posts like gateway pundit. At least you have some idea of what the major stories are. Qs are not as present here so there’s less of that. The HOT algorithm seems to be sluggish.

I know Im the only one but I like day mode so Ill be pleased if they do add that as they said.

I am finding it hard not to downvote. I want a quick way to say “fuck you!” without actually typing it.

So nice to have a soft place to land after voat.

Nothing in particular. I mean they get destroyed as quickly as they’re created if they’re real good.

I guess you could start with obvious: oan, newsmax, trunews, Infowars, zero hedge, Project veritas . Then the less obvious: lifesite, naturalnews, disclose.tv, vdare, american rennaisance??, culture wars,

Honestly, these are just off the top and they’re probably not the best either. But it’s something.

Know more news is controlled opposition meant to blackpill and turn people away from Christ so no to him.

I'd bet you all of the sources you listed are all controlled opposition. TPTB don't let something like alt media exist without controlling it. Sure they drop some truths to keep you interested but they mix in a lot of misinformation too.

I will say that one guy from OAN named the jew pretty loudly when he said our politicians are screwing little girls and being blackmailed by jews. That was a serious truth bomb.

Well, if you feel there is lack of current news, then please do post. More good-quality posts are better.

It will probably pick up more after the holiday, most of us were probably busy with other stuff.

Thing is, the Jew posting started with the Goat Exodus.

When this site was first made, a lot of people were completely sick of Voat, as all they did was talk about the Jews. Even completely unrelated discussions were getting completely hijacked by people bitching about Jews. It was discussed early on that we wanted to talk about other things. Yes, the Jews are a problem, yes, we're all redpilled, but can we please talk about something else? This would be a place for Redpilled people to discuss other things. Not a place to be Redpilled, there was Voat for that. It was also decided that we didn't much care for the negative atmosphere of Voat too much, and thus and several other positive subs were made, and everyone took on a more joking tone.

Since the Goats have been showing up, I've seen tons of people complaining that we aren't "Redpilled enough" just because we aren't bitching about the Jews 24/7, and thus cranking up their Jewposting to insane levels.

I feel like a refugee coming to another country and demanding it becomes like the place I left.

Yeah, there was a lot of thought put into this place at the beginning to try and figure out how the site should be run. Looking at other platforms, and trying to see what lessons could be learned, and how we could avoid their mistakes.

For instance, we almost immediately got set upon by SBBH and other shills. They tried to abuse free speech for the purpose of silencing other's free speech. Obvious shill tactics like slide threads, spamming, brigading, etc. Things that are technically free speech, but do nothing but subvert and destroy free speech. After some very hard discussion, it was decided that in order to protect our rights, sometimes we need to be willing to cede some of those rights to a benevolent authority, and PMYB2 started banning. He was seriously distraught over it. It put him into a depressive funk for a few weeks, and shortly after, an automated system was made, the Suspicious Behavior system. Whether we came to the correct conclusion or not, and whether the admins that were given that authority were the right people for it is up for you to decide.

But, the shills were defeated, they ran back to Voat with their tails between their legs, and since they couldn't subvert us, they used the other shill tactic. They trashtalked Poal on Voat until nobody had a positive opinion of us. I can guarantee that 99% of the people trashtalking Poal on Voat were shills. And it worked. Even now, goats are suspicious of this place.

Aside from the Suspicious Behavior tag, the other thing shills really like to attack us on is that the admins like to move threads. Again, that's the result of a discussion that was had. If people want to see certain content, they're going to look for it in a certain place, so you should be posting it there. If people don't want to see that content, it allows them to block that sub, and no longer see it. And ultimately, if everyone is just dumping everything in whatever, the place is going to move so fast, nobody is going to see your post anyway, and that's just as bad as censorship. The shills like to complain that the admins are hiding posts in places where nobody is going to see them, but we take the stance that the admins respect what you have to say enough to move it to some place where it can be found. Think of it like a disorganized pile of books vs a well catalogued library. Accessible speech is free speech.

Yes. Agree. Voat was my “one stop” for what’s going on. Now I find my self hitting up 3 or 4 other sites just to get up to date, multiple times a days.

I agree with that assessment. It feels a bit warmer here, too. I haven't found the same niche subs I loved at Voat yet. Maybe they don't exist or I just suck. Probably both. But I'm glad to be here, at least.

They will exist if you get more people here. A lot of people just came from voat because it shut down. Realistically there's a lot of people who could use a place like this, they just don't know it exists.

But look, if you come here being like voat and you build up the user base the admins will love you as long as they aren't cucks. And they seem pretty cool so far.

Yeah. It's a bit cozier. But Voat changed my standards of what "mean" was, I suppose. I'll put some time into this place. Like I said, I miss some subs. Maybe I'll have to make them myself, eventually.
