I've seen senior shopping hour daily in one store (1st hr) and two days in other stores (1st hour), but they still have to wear a mask. There's a blood test company (and probably pee test job screening) that advertised a 1st hour of the day time for immune compromised people only , which meant allowing 4 people max in the wait room, and at the same time discouraged walk-ins with long wait times and having to wait in their car for a phone call when there was a rare opening. So what did walk-ins do? They walked in line first thing in the morning and lined up out in the hall to the door, destroying the 'safe' early hour appointments for immune comp'd people who also had to line up to get their turn at the door to explain that they indeed had an appointment and should be let in the waiting room. That made the 1st hour the unsafest hour to have an appointment. It wasn't like that before lock down - aggravated the situation by putting blood test centers employees on lay off due to not as many people seeking testing (not as many going to doctor nor applying for jobs) during lock down.
I heard there used to be pharmacies in most grocery stores before I can remember. Now they’ve put labs in them. We have really good insurance $150 out of pocket then 10% to 1500 then free and $2,500 max for a family.
Lab tests are now free if we go to the grocery store lab, screw that. I’ll pay my 10%.
Yes, they’ve screwed everything for the elderly and immune compromised who used to avoid crowds on their own. Now they have to stand in lines.
I think maybe a few companies do that here still but just like you masks are now required. The problem is that people lie to get in, all you have to say is you have a medical condition and they can’t question you and you get in.
Then in the beginning “first responders” and medical staff with name badges were allowed in with them which was the craziest thing, the people most likely to be infected mixed with the people at the most risk of dying. I think enough old people and immune compromised people complained and that stopped.
And why police needed priority access is beyond me, they aren’t working extra hours and aren’t doing shit except letting the criminals rob everyone blind, property theft and car thefts are extremely high, no plates, tags, temp permits, registration etc are required currently so it’s a criminals/drug addicts dream world.
Why not allow “essential workers” from other retail jobs with name badges in first, they were working extra hours and days and should’ve been given priority access before the police.
Cars with no plates everywhere etc. If they actually do show up “there’s nothing they can do” a women caught a guy walking a block away from my house with a brown grocery bag stealing her mail, she got it back but the bag was completely full of other peoples mail and he wouldn’t put it down and kept walking. She took a picture, called police and when they showed up they couldn’t find him. Yeah 30 minutes later it’s kinda hard to find someone. They told her even if they catch him the most they can do is give him $100 fine and court dates are a year or two out now due to covid.
Even with drugs on him they can’t do anything because hard drugs are legal here.
I thought mail theft was a felony? Not a $100 dollar fine and with a bag of it, it should be multiple counts.
