I don't want to compete with coders, I want to found companies and code for startups. I will undercut Filipinos and the Ukraine for equity.
I might have to return to work and mask up, but I also might fuck off to the woods instead.
I have some traditional ideas for making money I will try first, because the coding path is long.
In the end though, I will make it to a remote farm and setup satellite so I won't need to earn much income.
Yeah your gonna work for $700 a month?
Being a founder is cool if you like stress and not having any money for ten years (founder salaries are typically capped). But you should read up about how the VC process works if you are serious about it.
Homesteading is the dream. I am gonna quit as soon as I get 2M euro in the bank, that should be enough to homestead for the rest of my life and fund vanity projects.
While my current focus is coding, I recognize it's analogous to manual labor so the pay reflects that.
What tech jobs provide better pay or passive income? SysAdmin?
Data science and data engineering pays more. Sysadmin and devops less. Security specialists get a lot.
Gonna try and get my son into biotech.
Obviously most people can't quit their jobs. I probably shouldn't have.
Sometimes you just gotta say "Fuck it, we'll do it live!".
