They started off as a bunch of The_Donald exiles wanting to give right wingers a place they could speak without being censored by Reddit.

Then once they monetized and the money started rolling in they got complaints from Patreon, Heroku, and others. Then they decided that "Nazis" or anyone who criticizes the establishment were cutting into their profit margin. They have an "official site discord server" full of kikes calling themselves "centrists" who despise right wing ideas and any speech that criticizes jews.

These discord kikes are almost all "premium" users and donate money to Ruqqus. There's only like 10 of them and the discord users sit in the official site discord channel with the admins all day talking about how shitty the site's actual users are and how it needs to be changed and how they can do it without everyone noticing they're censoring them and completely turning their back on the idea of free-speech. These same discord users who claim to be saving the site almost never actually post anything on the site itself they just comment and bitch.

The recent shutdown of voat has thrown the admins and discord patrons into a panic because the right wing guilds they hate started getting a large influx of new users and supporters. The admins closed new account creation under the guise of "servers not being able to handle the load" which is total bullshit, they've had almost no downtime since the shutdown.

The admins are aware that most people speaking out against big tech wouldn't touch discord with a ten foot pole and as a result are unaware of all the shit the admins talk about them on discord and how hated they are.

To "fix" it and make the site "more mainstream" they plan on adding this new "category" shit. Basically you're forced to give your guild a category but if they consider your guild problematic for the establishment and their donors its going to be forcibly labeled by admins as "offensive". This is very similar to Reddit's quarantine system they used to kill subreddits before they just started deleting them outright.

"Offensive" guilds will be invisible to users unless they go into their profile and manually opt-in to them. They know that the average consumer isn't aware enough of what's happening on the site so they'll never click the button to enable these guilds. So then the guilds they don't like can slowly wither and die with no new users and the admins can make sure their site stays nice and pretty for their donors on discord.

People are calling the admins left wingers but I disagree, they don't have such strong moral convictions. They're actually just kikes who don't believe in anything but the dollar. They'll pander to whatever side they think will bring them their precious shekels which in current day America just happens to be the progressive left.

I'm gearing up to move here but i'm going to keep my account their until the admins actually pull the trigger and prove what they are. Threats are threats but that won't be enough for me to run away I'll keep bitching about it and calling them out until i'm either banned or they implement this new rule to shadow ban all the guilds I use.

I'm aware that some of you are active there as well as here so my advice is if you do decide to delete your account redirect traffic here on communities you own and make sure your guild doesn't get "seiged" and silenced by their discord gang. Whenever they get a right winger to delete their account the discord patrons take over their guild, remove all posts, and fill it with gay porn or CCP shitposts.

most conversation on voat were pretty civil. and the the coars language was mostly used because it was possible.
And the coarse language used by migrating goats is to test the limits of the place we are going to. I suspect the language used in the next few days will taper off and get more civil. but as for now, Niggerfaggot!

I agree for the most part. Too many times I watched people from Reddit come in, get told to fuck off we are full, chased, cursed and driven off the site. Pissed me off. The cunts that did that had no interest at all to grow the numbers of people that support free speech. Some are on poal now and I hope the environment will become them at some degree. Acting like a cunt to someone that gets it and responds the same way is not the same as doing it to someone new. Over run? Would have been great! Think about it. We use logic to base what we believe. They use feelings. It would have been like fighting 100 butterflies at the same time. Yes its a lot at once but they are butterflies!

That is exactly it. It was a hazing, a way to test your mental fortitude.

In one way it tests if you are weak, but, only women and feminized men are really insulted by that. All men understand these as terms of endearment. If a man talks to you straight and clear, you are not in the ingroup. If they start making fun of you, you are now part of the group and have to prove your worth to the group going forward.

the hazing and harsh language was almost never genuine and was simply the voat immune system at work. if somebody got offended at being called a nigger faggot kike online then they may as well have stayed on reddit. words dont hurt people. quality> quantity which was proven time and time again after the influx of users after the whole q thing.

This is the problem. I don't suck my thumb anymore like I don't piss the bed. At one time I did those things like you and everyone. We grow out of it. This immune system you are talking about was garbage. It kept most new people away and prevented them from growing out of their child like views. Those people could have been treated better and most would have stayed. Hell, they came to us!

If I have to pick one, increase numbers or keep wrong think people off my site... I'm going to pick the numbers. Keeping wrong think off the site is just as fucking retarded, evil and arrogant as wrong think is Reddit when they start banning for it. The only difference is the side doing it.
