In English the masculine is the same as the neuter. I have no idea what it is like in Greek. Besides, whether or not angels have a sex is apparently up for debate according to scripture.
Regardless, what I'm doing is just reasoning things out.
I find it easier to understand evil if I don't allow for evil to be admirable. The conventional portrayal of the Devil is cool. It is shown as a physically impressive specimen. I believe that this is camouflage. The Devil's true physical manifestation would probably look like Ruth Bader Ginsburg, not like Darkness from Legend.
The Devil is devoid of admirable qualities.
The Devil is not a powerful hunter. The Devil is a spider who tricks its prey into wrapping itself up, kind of like how John Wayne Gacy preyed on people.
If the Devil was masculine in nature, his seduction would be of men, because homosexuality is depraved and unnatural. Since witches are the Devil's playthings, and since they are women, if the Devil were masculine, then seducing women would be a reflection of God's will.
I just can't see Satan being part of a heterosexual pairing. It'd be too natural, too in line with God's design. It wouldn't be sinful enough. Thus I believe that Satan is essentially feminine in nature.
