I agree with your statement entirely. Voat was great, but it was it's own thing. I'd rather not see some of the more tawdry imports like purity spirals, needlessly rude comments, and 70% of all postings being about how da jooooz burnt your roast. Poal is much more polite, and has a wider variety of topics.
