serious question: why do people care so much about being/feeling represented in hollywood/media??? i will never be represented on the many unique qualities of my life and personality and that absence has never even crossed my mind... isn't art, for the viewer, about seeing someone else's world, and also interpreting it in a way that represents your world? it's not usually supposed to be direct, and it's hardly fun or intriguing when it is

They don't, well at least I don't want to be (and as you said propably never will for a bunch of reasons)

I don't want to see somone like me, me is reality and I am trying to get away from that when watching movies or gaming.

At the same time you won't see me cry that "the prince of Bel Air" or "Family Matters" didn't have white represntation. If I want to see white comedy from the 90s then I turn to married with children.

But years of (((((propaganda)))) of how oppressd blacks are, how everything is racism from whites and blacks having lower impulse control and a bigger sense of selfe entitlement you see shit like muh representation coming out. Blacks can't be bothered to give a fuck to see how the representation they are getting is only a shitty waterd down mirrior image of something white (because noody told them to be mad at that)

And even then this shit fails, well maybe it fails to make money, maybe its successfull in slowly grinding down the ressistance of the new generations.

Also its cheaper to try and ride an established character than building a new unique black one from the start.

The risk is that if you do a fresh character the SJW will screech of not having enough of that or too little of this.

Do a black james bond and the SJW are like "Ha white fragil man cry babies cry of stronk black wamen takeing the lead" aka the sreeching doesn't hit the producers.
