For Gen X, the white guilt started with the tv show Roots. A young Geordi LaForge and the dad from Goodtimes being beaten by the dad from the Brady Bunch. You know the gay one who died of AIDS. We grew up walking on eggshells around them. Inner city blacks demanded to be bused to suburban schools and we had forced integration. You were nice to them and they in turn resented and hated you for it.

I have a friend who lived in a racially mixed neighborhood as a kid. She said it was alright until Roots. She said it was like a lightswitch a d kids she played with suddenly attacked her and her brothers relentlessly. They had to have the Hell's Angels bikers help them move out to get away from the chaos.

So Roots sounds very important in the anti white programming.
