Just put a new Ash handle on the blocker. The hewing axe has a crack in the back of the neck, that handle was put on in 1995 and I ran that fucker hard for a while. I can't seem to find a short re-curve handle anywhere. I might just have to make some or get some made. I also got a 8 inch hewing head that is German steel with a 1941 date stamp I would like to get going and that would take the exact same handle.
