Benzos are literally evil and dangerous. They aren’t meant to be taken every day for years they rape your brain and make you evil.
Is that what happened to you?
I’ve been around lots of addicts in my life. Benzos are like alcohol without the emotional amplification, in fact they completely fucking remove all emotions and morals completely. Good people literally turn into insane kleptomaniacs on those evil things and it’s easier to hide because there’s no smell and you aren’t as sloppy. How am I evil? I’m literally lawful good.

I had bad fibromyalgia in my 20s. Benzos really helped. I took them several years. My morals were spectacular, I didn’t steal or do evil things. I was a nicer person than I am now. I felt totally normal on them. I didn’t feel addicted and when I decided to stop I just weened off them, no problem.
I worry now about my crappy memory though. I used to have great recall. Long term use is related to premature cognitive deterioration.
