lithium batteries don't have a flash point lower than 73 F.

Not sarcasm: If I pour water on a lithium-ion or lipo battery after it's been punctured at below 73F it won't burst into a fire ball?

I suppose I have some fucked up lipos around I could test with.

You don't need to pour water, exposure to air is enough to cause the lithium to react and burst.
