I figured he was burnt out and disinterested. He barely kept the site running in the past year, and never sought help. But I still thank him for being the "man in the arena", to reference the quote he put in his pull-the-plug announcement. I wish he would have put some effort into handing it off to somebody, but it was his baby. Hopefully poal can pick up the mantle.
