When I was a kid my dog Jubal was killed by my dad.
You see Jubal was a German shepherd half breed named after the Confederate General Jubal Early. Because he wasn't a real German shepherd he sucked at things like not biting bicyclists, and not eating his own shit. he had floppy ears and didn't look right. He might have been a crypto jew dog. That's beyond the point.
You see Jubal was my first dog and despite his destructiveness and wanton disregard for manners I loved him. One cold Washington state evening while I was away at school Jubal got off his chain and attacked some degenerate bicyclist. I know he was a degenerate because all bicyclists are scum.
My dad dragged Jubal by his collar deep out into the woods of Snohomish county and emptied a magazine of 7.62x39 ammo into that son of a bitch from his AK-47.
I don't know the moral of that story but it reminds me of Voat. Watching Voat die is like losing Jubal all over again, I feel like my dog has been murdered by my asshole dad and I feel pissed off about it. Fuck you
