I happened across a documentary about Capra the other night. It was on PBS, so you guys can hate it if you want. But it was interesting.
I used the word schmaltz because it was the only fitting one I could think of. But Capra had his heart in the right place. IAWL was really meant to show how one man can have an impact(most of Capra was). Even if we might not always realize. A single comment on Voat or Poal might help our brothers. And you shouldn't discount or minimize your own impact on others. Sometimes you wont even know. Unless Clarence shows up and we cant count on that.

I'm so sorry. My mother threatened (and occasionally attempted) suicide throughout my entire childhood. Borderline personality disorder is her working diagnosis. For 20-30 years all of her children lived in a constant state of fear and guilt and then, all at once, we got fed up and exhausted. She's still alive but nobody but my father jumps for her mental breakdowns anymore.
I can't even imagine what a mind fuck a mother's suicide out of the blue without warning would feel like. I am so so sorry.
