I have it on mega in a bit better quality, unfortunately you won't find a true 4K or even 1080P vid of this. How scruton managed to squeeze this past the BBC management, is still a mystery. I could write a long argument about why beauty matters,why it should matter to everyone and why we should strive for it,fight for it. But alas, I'm no philosopher like Scruton was, I don't have his oratory or writing ability. He can explain it much better.

Yes I've read a few of Scruton's books - the Aesthetics of Architecture probably is the one most connected to that documentary, and basically has the same argument that if our ancestors thought it necessary to build things pleasing, that were meant to last, why should we not continue tradition
