The powers that be have stated they want America gone, and a new nation called North America to replace it, under a EU style non elected technocracy. To achieve that they need America to break apart. America cannot be defeated militarily. It has to impload like the Soviet Union. So, if the white hats fail, then we are looking at probable succession, both left and right leaning states leaving the union, and likely civil war. Severe economic collapse at the very least. That's how you eliminate a military super power. You remove the military with layoffs. You cancel the federal government. You cancel the country. The weapons merchants start selling off the inventory on black markets to the highest bidder. So, it is better for the white hats to go all out now, while they still have a military to control, and can call the support of patriots, and at least half of the states, if they are needed. That is a conflict that can save the nation. I doubt very much if they will ever see another chance, or ever see their pensions if they do not. America was created with a military, and the military must act to keep it. Russia did the same to keep the motherland out of oligarch hands after the Soviet Union collapsed. Moscow is only in charge because the Red Army keeps it in charge. America is no different, it just looks that way on TV. If they will not defend the nation, then there will not be a nation to defend. All other civilized options have failed. Trump appears to be trying to thread the needle and win without the conflict... but he just allowed his Q supporters to get kicked off the internet.
