My initial reaction to an article in Russia Insider about history being a lie was, "Well. They should know." I guess I am lucky to be a good bit older than many of you here. We were taught quite a few things that you weren't - Civics, especially. Hell, I learned in the NYC Public School system that the number of Jews, Gypsies, etc, killed before and during WW2 was somewhere in the area of 300,000 to 500,000. We were taught that there was almost no difference between Democrats and Republicans, and that the "left/right" graph used to describe the two parties was inaccurate. We were taught that Americans took care of each other before Social Security was created (Lions Club, Elks, Knights of Columbus). And speaking of Columbus; he wasn't the savior he was cast as, nor was he the raping villain he's cast as now.
