Yes! Fuck yes. I have no idea how to do something like that, but you're right.

Settings -> Accessibility -> Force enable zoom

This workaround, Pinch zoom is still a little buggy on here for me.

My technique is to scroll with one finger, keep that finger on the screen, then I add my 2nd finger to zoom.

If i try to pinch zoom without scrolling at least 1 pixel, zoom fails.
