Mexico and the majority of Central and S. America ended slavery before the United States. What colonialist didn't bring slaves to America? All the Europeans that came over brought slaves.
The thing is, they do that today. I think, if my memory serves me right (I'll have to pull up the stats), but, 90% of Native Women say they've been raped and abused by their fellow Indians today.
