First off, I need to say that I know I’ve let a lot of you down (if not all). I know I’ve not met your expectations of an admin or a leader. I have no excuses as even I feel this way about myself. I won’t make attempts for empathy (except for this post, of course), I will only acknowledge the truth, and it is such.
Let’s get real
When it comes to “Free Speech” sites, I suck at running them. I just want some sweet VC money to come my way, but you fuckers scare away all the advertising corps.
You can see this with Voat. A majority of Voat users are still super gay. Voat is populated with queers who won't leave, even when staring at the very flames burning down this site. We're talking years people. Years of "seeing the signs" and doing nothing about it. The few Voaters who left to make other sites had the right idea. I can't blame them, I don't even like being on Voat. That's why you never see me around unless I'm whining or announcing some big influx of cash going into my pocket.
So Voat, please forgive me for my shortcomings if you can, and expect my work to continue on sike! making Voat a truly profitable website
Just know, if I don't make enough moolah, I'm out.
