Supposedly you're living in a 'democracy' but what is it worth if the majority of people are fed the same information to sway their behavior and outcome.
Some media are controlled directly by big $$ other media are useful idiots (targeted and exploited for reach, parrotting press releases).
That last one is more common than you think. See any upcoming news that's sort of 'generated' by a big entity and search for the actual press release. You will be surprised by the dozens of equally sounding 'news websites' but then finally find the actual source. Congratulations, you've outgrown modern journalism.
