I rescue kittens and a lot of them are sickly and die. A lot. I use "needle nose" syringes to feed or give medication to sick cats and kittens. In order to get one of those syringes, I have to jump through hoops and pay a shit-ton of money for something that probably costs three cents to make.

OTOH, as a fucking junkie, I get brand new sterile syringes and needles free of charge, thanks to my taxpayer dollars...

Go to walmart. I’m diabetic and they just sell you syringes and insulin over the counter. No script needed. My dumbass bought insulin from Publix (grocery store in FL) for $140 a vial with BCBS for 3 years. Same vial is $24 at Walmart. I use 1 vial every 2-3 weeks.

Hey thanks I'll go check that out. I need the catheter tip syringes mostly for feeding and oral medications. I do frequently use IV fluids and needles for subcutaneous fluid resuscitation and getting those items at a fair price would be outstanding. A vet charges at minimum twenty dollars u.s for a liter bag of fluid alone.

I’m heading to Wally World in a few minutes to get some insulin. I’ll see if they have the syringes with a removable needle. All the ones I use are 1/2ml, 5ml total, but the needle is 3/8”. I went to Walgreens when I was in NJ for 2 weeks last year. They would only sell me one bag of 10. I use 4-5 per day. That was fun. I just found out about WM selling them over the counter early this year. I’ll let you know what I find out and see if they sell saline.
