I trust snopes a lot less on political shit (or than one could 20 years ago) but when it's old stuff like this one that's been around for a while it's not hard to debunk the supposed source.
The snopes guy may be a total shit, but ad hominum arguments are not useful.
The message in the post is on target and shouldn't need a fake attribution to be shared widely.
We shouldn't use the propaganda techniques of the bad guys lest we fall into erroneous thinking.
