I feel for ya, Mong. I went to reddit yesterday for the first time in years. I still have a headache from it.
I decided to create a twitter account to see what's going on there.
I searched for posters that I used to follow, all suspended, "Does not Existed", etc.
Then, (based on my searches I think), twitter blocked my account unless I entered a phone number.
Happened to two accounts, one from a US IP, one form a European IP.
It had nothing to do with your searches and everything to do with you not giving them an "Oh, but it's optional" phone number.
Twitter has been doing that for a long time. They WANT a phone number because it's easy juicy info to help tie you to a real person.
Twitter is a lot of bots posting and bots retweeting stuff. I have a bot account that posts random garbage, and it constantly gets retweeted by everything from a pokemon disagreement bot to ones that retweet numbers like 92, 69, and 42.
It's been on autopilot for a long time, and the actual people there are too damn dumb to see it for what it is.
lmao
