I understand why the standing advice is to never talk to police unless it's statements through your lawyer. There are so many 'red herrings' 'false attributions thrown at that first dude, it's absurd.

It is literally better to say "FUCK YOU EAT SHIT!" than to tell them anything about your prior activities. Especially if you are innocent.
