Bars are really simple to undertstand, actually. The white or empty ones means that prices are going up and market participants are enjoying new gained wealth. Big red dildos means prices are going down and everyone is becoming poorer.

It's where you'd traditionally go to meet and make friends with other people that you wouldn't meet otherwise, particularly in your local community. I don't frequent bars any more, but if your group mixes with a different group, you can find many good friends or people you like, that will expand your social circle.

That's just the nature of most women nowadays, but why do you care? Any port in a storm, and you're not looking for a relationship are you? That said, even when considering actual whores or people you don't like, it can be entertaining or interesting to observe or listen to the "simple" people in bars, more than likely there's more to most people than meets the eye. In fact, if they're working at a loser job, it's maybe because they have other passions or interests that take priority over their day-job.

Apart from higher profit per bottle, bars also use this to filter out the crowd they want. If the beer is very cheap, you'll get the riff-raff and homeless drunks/drug addicts that will chase out the rest of your market. It's funny how you're complaining that the women are whores, and that the beer is too expensive at the same time. Maybe you're in a gold-digger bar?

As do I, however, you're not going to meet any new people there unless it's something like a house party. If you're drinking with only a few close mates it's going to get repetitive, predictable, and ultimately boring after a while. And unless you've got your own girl waiting for you at the end of the night, you'll be going to bed alone.

I quit going out to drink several years ago, hell I never really drink anymore except on special occasions. When I was younger I would frequent a few places. When I lived in my hometown there were a few local pubs that I would go to because who needed a high school reunion or facebook when all your old friends were always out at the pubs too?
