I know people that have these glass doors they don't even put up curtains. You can watch them all night if you're a peepin tom. People have a false sense of security these days

That is provable untrue. Discovery channel had a show hosted by an ex con who did breaking and entering and he showed how you can beef up your house to deter burglars. You can secure your house enough to deter most unwanted attention
