The German number looks way too low, those were the Hitler years and WW2. During WW2 the Nazis went through Russia and just killed off whole towns because some of them were Jewish.

So does this chart only count the number of German citizens they killed?

China numbers are also way too low. China killed 65 million of its own citizens in the 20th century alone. http://wordsalad.info/china.html
