Weed doesn't make pain go away, just makes it a little easier to deal with. It's a brain drug, not a nerve agent like opiates or the *caine drugs (novocaine, lidocain, coke caine etc)

For me, it just made me feel stupid(er) and took away other distractions so the pain was more obvious.
