Maybe, but if you look at them none of the companies are reporting real profits. Even the Canadian ones are kind of not going anywhere.
Fossil fuels aren't really spectacular right now either.
if cannabis shares took off people would start seriously looking at other uses for cannabis and that would hurt fossil fuel, pharmaceutical and building/farming industries. Albeit in a good way.
As far as medical, I've never had any luck with it. Even one of my friends that smokes so much I'm surprised he can remember his name told me that the pain killing properties are shit and not to believe any of them.
It does seem to help with severe nausea, but that's not something most people have chronic unless they're being treated for cancer.
