Something to get off my chest.

1) We won't be remembered properly in history. Only the narrative of the left will be remembered properly. Alex Jones will go down as a crazy conspiracy theorist who spreads fake news. Roger Stone's documentary "Get Me Roger Stone" won't mean anything. Anything you can think of that the right has accomplished, won't matter. Maybe Limbaugh, Hannity and Ben Shapiro will get some proper recognition in the history books. Everyone else. Forget it. So bottom line, the right needs historians. People to properly document history. Right now a history course I'm taking has the left's narrative in the book, not that of the right for present day history. It's somewhat neutral but it lacks key important information in it. It is present day so it won't have much but it's still worth looking at Link to book: http://www.americanyawp.com/text/30-the-recent-past/ go specifically to section VIII.

Bottom line, we won't be remembered properly unless we take up our part in contributing to the documentation in history.

2) People keep switching date formats from "Month Day, Year" to "Day Month, Year" it's subtle and no one has noticed. Now you know about it. Spread the word.

Thanks for reading everyone.

I believe the date formatting is a europe vs america kind of thing. Or really america vs the world thing.

Anything but yyyy-mm-dd is shit for sorting, and therefore stupid.

20180919 yep I always use that shit

I only use that for file backups usually.

That could explain a lot. From what I know, America has tried to be different from everyone else, explaining the different measurement systems and what not.

Year month day would be the only format that makes sense. Month day year, tbh, is the most fucked up format possible. But whatever, it's an American thing, just like using imperial units. I'm glad I use the metric system.

It would be easier for sorting. That is very true.

This may be true but it's not new. History should be taken with a grain of salt or deeply dug into because usually it's one side or the other that gets told not both and not always or maybe even often not the truth or at least not the whole of it.

Very true. Both sides should be properly documented. That way it would be easier in the future for historians to put together the truth of what actually happened.
