Gibiru uses Google API's, so it's hardly anonymous

It uses old API and is modified. It's not literally google. It also doesn't store cookies.

Nope. You replied to me. You are asking why I don't use your suggested search engine solely, while the post was about two engines I have come across and sharing them. You didn't really share one, you posted on and implied I'm dumb for not using the one you do.

Swiss cows is censored. In order to censor they have to scan my search and decide not to give me any results. I experimented using "sex" as part of a search, they refused to give me results. I clicked the thingy on the right, selected "clear my ...." and it went back to a page where they told me they wouldn't search for anything with "sex" in it, and my search text was placed in the search box. That did NOT feel very anonymous and my shit was obviously NOT cleared.

I just did the exact same thing and I keep getting the same message as if I was a new user. You might have a browser problem.

How does you getting the same thing = I have a browser problem? It obviously doesn't delete data when you click the delete option. Are you saying you have a browser problem, and so maybe I do too? They claim not to retain data, but they obviously do.

I'm saying that the search engine on my secure browser doesn't save the information. The SITE isn't saving the info, your browser is. I'm not getting the same thing. It's treating me like a new user every time. You are saying it's not treating you as a new user every time. Also, just because it knows what word your searching and blocks it, doesn't mean it's tracking you. Those are two different things. Maybe you're not being clear enough about what the actual problem is.
