One of the things I was taught years ago by a small company I worked for was that a business shouldn't make a political statement, the business is there to sell things. You get fair-weather customers by making a statement, but they desert you the minute the cause changes, unless you make another statement. It has the effect of annoying your loyal customers that just want to buy stuff from you, which is what Adafruit did to me. Make statements on your own time.

How on earth, in America, is it legal to say he was murdered before the trial has happened? I just got an email from my boss saying he was murdered so we're gonna have diversity training. WTF?! I'm so sick of retarded people, and I had no idea how many there actually were.

Watch Derek Chauvin become the wealthiest man in the world when he gets to sue all these places for defamation. Of course, I think he might've been part of a money laundering operation... That's a fun rabbit hole to look down, not that I've had time to take the dive.

To delete your account please log into your account on Adafruit.com by using the "Sign In" button on the upper right corner of the site. Once logged in, click the link to "My Account” and then "Security & Privacy" . Click the "Delete Account" button towards the bottom of the page to totally and permanently delete your Adafruit account.

I always felt that way too. Even though disclaimer: I did buy one of the earlier models and spent a lot of time playing with it for a few projects.

And even checking out the Ada Fruit site back in the day the founder looked like a problematic SJW type. This announcement doesn't surprise me at all.

I don't know if I'd say that, they're certainly geared towards the educational market. That the Pi found a life in regular environments just gave testament to the need for a cheap, reliable Linux computer. I use them as makeshit hardware containers since they're so cheap.
