My comment was tongue in cheek. At what point in time is it ok for a peace officer to take another mans life? Especially when a felony can be added to your "record" faster than you can say "Well god damn"?
I was just quoting from Stallone's Dredd lightheartedly. I'm fine with the current reasons for a "peace officer" to take a life when their life or the lives of innocents are threatened. I guess most people have forgotten by now the whole 'rough ride' narrative that got thrown at those 6 Baltimore police officers that the media tried to claim were white supremacists and it was all mixed race; just like this incident. I saw the case prosecutor already made a gaffe earlier by saying there may already be exonerating evidence for the kneeling cop.
Don't ever forget that a vegan feels threatened by someone who is eating meat at table next to them. We've been in some interesting times and they're only going to get more interesting. On all sides.
If there's ever a vegan police officer that comes at me for eating meat, I'll be sure to do the world a public service through violent, civil disobedience. A world with that kind of policing/tyranny is one not worth living in anyhow.
