With the rumors swirling about Covid being a splice of Corona and HIV I wouldnt doubt it.
As I sit here breathing through my nose, I doubt wearing a mask significantly increases respiratory viral self-retransmission.
I would expect it reduces it, rather, by reducing touches of hand to mouth and nose, which then carry germs to eyes.
