HR Block wanted $105 for the privilege of filling out a Schedule C where I made next to nothing last year. IRS specifically recommends efiling unless the amount is high enough.
The normal "free" HR Block (and others) won't let you do that. They consider it "small business," whether or not you made any money at all.
So if you do HR Block from the Free File link, it actually works. Otherwise, they'll keep trying to get you to upgrade.
