Over the last 10-15 years or so, Indians have taken over the mid-tier recruiting space. These Indian recruiters often can't speak English well, don't have any understanding of what they're recruiting for, and don't understand the meaning of the word no, or even remember (or care) that they just called you yesterday about the same lo-rent job that you're totally unqualified for. It wasn't uncommon for some positions for me to have upwards of a dozen calls - sometimes from the same company. I've noticed that almost all of that has dropped off, be it from these positions not being posted, or from the Indians themselves getting sick and/or being quarantined. The few contacts I've had these last few weeks have all been very high quality, super-targeted positions well within my skill area, some to a point where there's no way I could even think about filling them because I lack the proper licenses and clearances. All I can say here is go go CoronaChan, take a trip to Infotree and these other ignorant recruiting houses.
