I’m repairing an Ikea bunk bed today and this week will be building some shelves for displaying models I’m building. Assuming the weather stays nice.

The bunk bed repair is just adding a sheet of decking plywood for support.

The bunk bed repair is successfully installed. Will know in a few days if the oldest son needs some 2x4s under it to stiffen it up more. On to the model display shelves once the rain moves on and it drys out. Currently, it is much better than it was.

This is a great idea for a thread. One of my suggestions would be

Paint the walls instead of just looking at them. Do the ceiling and woodwork while you’re at it.
