It's a reddit conspiracy theory, which translates to highly probable bullshit.

Don't be one of those dopes that prejudices information because they don't like the source. Read the sciencedirect.com article. It's plain as day if you're capable of comprehending English.

I can believe reddit here, mainly because this information would actually normally go against what they believe, which is trusting vaccines in the first place.

Conclusions

Receipt of influenza vaccination was not associated with virus interference among our population. Examining virus interference by specific respiratory viruses showed mixed results. Vaccine derived virus interference was significantly associated with coronavirus and human metapneumovirus; however, significant protection with vaccination was associated not only with most influenza viruses, but also parainfluenza, RSV, and non-influenza virus coinfections.

I avoid all needles like the plague* so I def wasn't getting stuck with a needle every year for the fucking flu.

*should we update this idiom now to "avoid like the corona virus"? What do you all think?

~10 years ago I got a flu shot, was the only time I ever got the flu, so I said fuck it and never bothered with them since.

I know of many people who got the vaccine and still got the flu. I believe it weakens the immune system and you are better off with some ecchinachea.

The sample size was pretty small, but the results are still interesting.

With many hospitals forcing their workers to get the flu shot, this could get interesting.
