Who knew toilet paper would be the first thing people go for in an emergency. You'd think non-perishable food or plastic water jugs or ammunition or something.

Run out of water you're dead. Run out of TP and you can just do it like they do in the third world. Or go raid a panic buyers' house.

[–] 5 pts

It has to be a gut reaction from people who have no idea what to do.

[–] 2 pts

Right?! My thoughts are water and shelf stable food but I saw this picture and I had a stern talk with m kids about the amount of Tp they use. I mean we could use other things but I'd prefer not to lol.

I noticed this last week and had to shake my head. It’s absolutely ridiculous. There are SOOOOO many other things to obsess over and freak out about. If I run out of tp, which I won’t because I’m a planner and semi prepper anyway, it’s called a warm cloth, a shower, or a hose outside for all I care. The hype, misinformation, hidden agendas, and the general population’s gullibility are what is driving me insane. It’s the flu people, FFS. Or as I like to call it, the attempt at a global coup since the home grown ones have proved ineffective.

TP hysteria finally reached here as well. Everyone was stocking up on TP and pasta and spaghetti. I found it strange that they didn't buy rice instead.

[–] 2 pts

Same story in our store. I looked very surprised that the two shelves in front of me were completely empty. I asked and there were various noodles before. I've never seen a grocery store shelf empty like this. Then I noticed that on the literally opposite shelves all canned foods are still there in quantities and laughed about those people...

[–] 0 pt

That's good, because I ran out of rice this week and needed more. Plenty on the shelves, people buying up ramen noodles instead.

>a warm cloth, a shower, or a hose outside for all I care

Right? People in the U.S. really should adopt the bidet system.

[–] [deleted] 3 pts

Absolutely! We are getting ready for a bathroom remodel. It will include a bidet. This was decided long ago lol.

Care to share why or how it's scaremongering? I live in China and am freaking out.

The CCP allows the country to be covered in a cloud of smog year round, you never see the sky. They don't care for human life. Why would they nuke their economy if it's just a flu?

I don't want to get into an argument with you -and if I do, I conced defeat in advance - I just want to know your point of view. Going to bet my life savings that the DOW will crash to 14,000 so let me know why I'm a retard.

I cannot comment on anything regarding China. The only thing I can do is observe what is happening here, and what has been happening since 2016 when DJT was elected. At the heart of the scare mongering here, I believe, is a global effort to get rid of our President because he is not a globalist, in the most simplest terms. There have been multiple coups already attempted here by our own government people, attempting to subvert the will of the American voters. Now, I believe, it has become a global coup. About 12-18 months ago all these government and former government employees were out making the rounds internationally, meeting with international dignitaries. It seemed off. Why was Pelosi and a ome of her crew in Iran? Why were John Kerry, Obama, and who knows who else doing the same thing? I couldn’t figure it out. Now, it seems so transparent. I believe they were manufacturing this crisis. and I know there are many here on Poal who disagree with that, but for 4 years I’ve been watching and experiencing first hand DJT’s policies. And they are much better than what I watched in the previous 20 years before that. The flu circulates every winter here. Every year, tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, contract it. It kills a small percentage of infected, mostly the elderly and immune compromised. It does not wreak havoc such as shutting down entire industries or crashing economies. Most of us do not reside in dense population centers. There is already physical distancing merely in our way of life. The sun shines a lot here. Viruses cannot survive in the sun. That is one of the major reasons I hang my laundry out to dry for most of the year, instead of using a gas or electric dryer. We have access to whatever the world has to offer. Plenty of stores, plenty of supplies, plenty of meds, plenty of medical professionals, plenty of bleach, plenty of ....I could go on and on. The swine flu and SARS were much worse at the same point in the flu season than this current one, and with next to zero hype. The hysteria does not match the numbers for this current strain. A crash of our economy is what the opposition is hoping for. China is not very happy with us right now, either, I believe, because of the unbalanced trade that has been occurring for DECADES now, and which DJT is attempting to stop it. Im happy to report, at least here in CA, gun and ammo sales have been going crazy since February, and we recently just shot down a bunch of tax increases that were on last week’s ballots. Hope I haven’t rattled incoherently too much, these are just my thoughts. I do hate watching our portfolio go down like this, and perhaps we cannot stave off a DOW crash, but in the meantime, I’m buying shit cheap cuz I ain’t buying the global, elites bullshit. Will the time come to panic? For both health and wealth? Perhaps. But it certainly isn’t here yet. And I suspect that come summer, there will be many comical memes summing up the insanity that has passed.

Smart and cautious analysis of the current dynamics in play.

They're gonna try and make the situation worse before it gets better.

[–] 1 pt

I hope for everyone's sake that you're right.

[–] 1 pt

I like your analysis, but I'm jealous of the fact that you can hang your laundry to dry while I'm over here using a gas dyer most of the year.

[–] 2 pts

Seriously, wash cloth use wash repeat use paper towels, use baby wipes I'm convinced this is just a marketing campaign. Not that I want to do that but running out of TP is so not the end of the world, Funky and I are going to stock up on canned goods tomorrow. We have rice and a good amount of food but I still think we should have more I'm also filling up all my gas cans. The only thing I don't have stocked is enough water but I think I can remedy that pretty fast.

The initial "out of tp" pictures were actually photos from the panic before hurricane katrina or some shit.

A friend of mine just went on twitter and asked their considerable follower base to report in from each state.

According to her all of them reported there were no such shortages.

This is a manufactured panic. Pentagon is preparing to push for mandatory vaccination and israel wants to use the panic to collapse the economy. That way if trump wants to be reelected, the only way to keep his popularity sufficiently high (or so the thinking goes), will be to go to war in iran.

It's likely the national ID program will double as a means to determine whos been vaccinated and who hasn't.

Few years time, national id will be used as an 'all in one', for 1. gun permits, 2. CCW, 3. vaccinations, 4. red flag orders, 5. whos on dope, 6. whos permitted to leave the country and whos not 7. all of the above.

You won't be able to board a fucking greyhound bus if your ID returns that you haven't been vaccinated. And if it indicated you have a gun permit/CCW, you'll have to be physically searched first, like the TSA does.

This is whats going on, among other things. This is the agenda.

This picture was taken by a friend who went to this store today.

You may be right that some of these pictures are manufactured, this one however is not.

[–] 2 pts (edited )

Sure, this picture my be real, but what I'm talking about is a broader perspective.

We have people from 50 states saying theres no meaningful shortages. It's all isolated and localized.

Your friend's picture is a one off.

That doesn't mean the morons aren't panicking.

The broader issue is the DOW dropping 9%.

They're trying to crash the economy and use the panic to create real shortages.

Don’t worry there’s plenty of socks

You have to know that the coronafake has a kabbalistic value of 9 in the Chaldean table. People are hypnotized with that word and idiot because of the cabal, aluminum of chemtrails, fluoride in water etc.

[–] 2 pts

This is an interesting practice. Do you frequently check numerology tables for hot-button keywords? If so, what got you started doing this?

[–] 0 pt

I keep going back to this. The more information emerges the more it seems like a psychological spell has been cast on the world.

[–] [deleted] 3 pts

So real talk - are people panick buying because they are afraid they will need to go into quarantine or because they want to isolate themselves from the 0.0001% of the population that has this virus?

[–] 2 pts

When everyone isolates himself, it will be a nice opportunity to enjoy a walk in the city. Almost like in "I am legend".

[–] 2 pts

I guess I'm lucky to live in an oddly non-retarded area. Our store was expecting this nuttery, and had a big stack of tp and bottled water right near the entrance, and although they were pretty busy, hardly anyone gave much of a fuck about these. I guess we all already have a good supply from having cleaned that other store out.

[–] 1 pt

Jokes on them, I usually got like 50 rolls saved up.
