I got an email from MEC, a few months ago, saying that they're sorry for being so white, and that I should rest assured that they're going to do everything in their power to make their stores more inclusive of minorities, somehow, because apparently not enough brown people buy expensive hiking equipment. I wish I were joking... but, hey: somebody's on it!
