If only we could all afford an attorney that causes the government to do a full document dump every time the government convicts someone. They made the concept of plea deals because trial is already too expensive for courts to go through for the large volume of convictions. Imagine if instead they had to do a multi agency document dump every time, within hella tight deadlines, and asking for everything both in vague and specific ways.
