The show has long since started for us. Apocalypse means "unveiling" and this awareness is what the apocalypse is. The mark has already been unveiled to us as corruption and in order to participate in the world with the rest we have to partake in the sin and accept some of the behavior around us (mark on the forehead) or partake in the behavior (mark on the hand). Note that the "event" is not going to happen and never has in history without some higher group wanting it. People are sheep and will let it go forever without Logos. In Revelations it says you must wait 1000 years for the White Knight to come and many interpret 1 day as a year, so we'll wait forever. A few blips on the radar happen when those crafty enough to bring about some empowerment and kick the can down the road a while. I think the only thing we can do is try to wake others up to see the moral inversion taking place. Permitting and partaking in the sin degrades us and allows the decay of our culture to continue. Some of us will go further and maybe we'll get to a place of moral correction, but again it requires a cunning shepherd and will only be temporary. I don't know this for certain, but I am interpreting Revelations this way, not as an event, but as a red-pill realization.
