I was and I have faltered but it's something I am working on. If I stay with family and they make something, I will eat it because that's what Buddhists do with their bowls when they collect food from the public.
It's a kind of cognitive dissonance which happens then I am reminded. Dr. Melanie Joy has excellent lectures on this exact type of cognitive dissonance.

Well that's really cool and I am so glad to hear there is a vegan community. I think the interaction with the topic on a daily-weekly basis helps a lot. I try and watch raw vegan cooking videos which inspire me - it's really a whole better quality of life which comes with it, when you do it right. Emotionally, physically - everything.
