Your implication that I'm using this poll to "identify users and their system in order to gather more data in the future and exploit vulnerabilities" is completely false. This has nothing to do with that. I'm currently working on a fork of the Dissenter browser, tentatively named Project Dorkus. And I'm only using this to help me decide which platforms I should prioritize building for.

I was going to accuse you outright but rewrote the post and removed the accusation on account of the fact that I don't fucking know you, which is why I specified that.

So whats this new project you're working on?

You gonna do something like decentralizing it or something else?

Ah, ok. My apologies.

Anyways, the project basically is removing the Dissenter extension, refining the UI, replacing Shields with uBlock Origin (while finding a way to keep the HTTPS upgrade component of Shields), and also making it easier to load non-Google extension store extensions.

Why not just fork vanilla firefox? Is there something I'm missing?

Theres a couple of extensions for firefox I have on the backburner. Quality of life type stuff, like something that removes floating navbars and floating footers. I do a lot of screenshoting of news articles (because the news has a way of changing and vanishing) and so many fucking sites seem to have floating top or bottom bars which fuck up firefox's screenshot utility for capturing a full page.
