I think this is trolling by 4chan. Make up a retarded challenge and see if anyone falls for it. Then the media will run with it like they did with the Tide Pod Challenge. No one actually eats Tide Pods. It was a "satanic panic" so that they'd have something for the soccer moms and boomers to worry about and bitch about how stupid the younger generation is.

If you look at most of these, it's pretty much how it goes.
