I don't know how God operates. I don't think its possible for a human being to know. but jesus said "you will know them by their fruits". that's darn good advice. in fact, the new testament is chock full of good advice. still struggling to understand the old testament. But make no mistake, God is real. and were rapidly reaching a point where only he (it) can bail us out of this mess.
The Bible is full of mistranslations.
For instance, Humans were not "made in God's image", but instead "with God-like attributes".
"god-like" is completely different from "equal to God"
Indeed it is.
The idea is that "God" is within us, that there's not much difference between our "souls" and what we call "God".
I'll agree, it's a rather ambiguous definition.
I don't "think I'm God". I simply feel God within me and recognize that "returning to the source" is only done by examining the depths of my own mind.
