Essentially, though, Looking Glass was a project that would allow the user to enter certain potential choices and the "machine" would return what particular events unfold if the user takes those actions, as in not only to that user. They are indeed "aliens", but just nothing like the way we're taught to understand them in movies. Every being that comes here has to have a host and it's typically just a "person" (human body).
