It's all seems so simple, really.
In the days before the total surveillance State we have today, if Politician's playing in their legal criminal playgrounds overstepped, the mobsters playing in the illegal criminal playgrounds killed them. Kennedy was probably just a mob hit, like many high-flying ivory tower inhabitants before him.
As the total surveillance State evolved, it eventually became powerful enough to stack the dynamic to one of almost absolute authority by the Political criminals, and slowly pushed out the seedy illegal side while giving power and resources to the agencies like the FBI and CIA, which represent the seedy illegal side specifically for the criminal Politician's.
In the end, we're witnessing today what a complete imbalance looks like. Without Mobsters and Mafia's to keep the Politician's in check, it's just another case of "power corrupts.. and absolute power corrupts absolutely". The Political criminal's run the systems of control (finance, law, etc) and can abuse the poor helpless Citizens almost endlessly for their own private gain. They just play pretend Game of Thrones using the products of Citizen labor to produce weapons and murder anyone they wish, anywhere in the world.
The Political criminal's have simply monopolized on crime, and we've all become slaves. Now, it seems everyone can accept that taking away the guns will seal the deal completely with the trifecta of control they've developed involving surveillance, financial instruments, and law.
When the guns are gone, the control is absolute.. and we're all fucked, because if you think things are getting bad today - you haven't seen anything yet, because it sure ain't going to get better once we aren't functionally able to push back against the Political criminals any more.
We are at a very important moment in history, and I fear it's going to pass us all by with nary a whisper in the wind.
America is no more.
Am I wrong?
